Commissions

In this article I explain how you can order a commissioned painting.

Would you like a more personalised painting? For example a landscape of a place you have lived or a painting to remind you of a special moment. I would love to talk about your idea with you.

  1. Free discussion

Contact me for a free discussion. We will discuss what you have in mind, your size and colour preferences.

I will then do an image research and prepare a sketch of your idea for you to see.

You can give me feedback about the sketch, let me know if there is anything you would like changing. I will happily do a new sketch based on your feedback.

Once you are satisfied with the final sketch, I will then send you a non-binding offer.

When I approached Maya to place a commission, I particularly appreciated her attentiveness and her questions which allowed me to discover her insight, precision and creativity.

2. Place an order

Let me know if you are happy with the offer.

Once you accept the offer it is binding. I will send you an invoice for 50% of the price which is to be paid beforehand. The second half is to be paid after the painting is finished.

I will then work on your painting and send you updates of the progress.

3. Collection or shipping

Once the painting is finished and dry I will let you know.

If it is possible then I like to delivery the painting in person either to your home or at an agreed place. This is the best way to make sure a painting arrives at its destination safely.

However if this is not possible then I will send the painting to you.

Shipping and packaging costs within Switzerland are included in the price of the painting.

For all other countries: shipping costs on request. Please note: some countries charge import taxes. This is not included in the price and is the responsibility of the customer.
